Recordings, notes and minutes live in this browser’s storage. Clearing site data removes them.
Whisper receives the audio and the minutes model receives the transcript, both sent directly from this browser to OpenAI with your key. OpenAI states API data is not used for training and is retained up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Usage is billed to your OpenAI account (Whisper is about $0.006 per minute). The key is kept in this browser’s storage; do not use a shared computer.
Recordings stay on the device that made them. Names, notes, tags, transcripts, minutes and speakers sync between your devices. A copy of an original goes to the server only when you choose “Keep a copy on the server” for that meeting. Server copies are free during the beta.
Paste a meeting link from Home (or the whole invitation) and use Join & record: the meeting opens in a new tab and this tab records the shared tab’s audio. Calendar linking and joining as a participant arrive with sign-in.
