Recordings, notes and minutes live in this browser’s storage; when sync is set up, names, notes, marks, transcripts and minutes are also on the server. Clearing site data removes what is here.
Meetings you delete wait here for 30 days on every device you are signed in on, then go for good. Restore puts a meeting back with its recording, notes and minutes. Until then their recordings still count toward your space.

Whisper receives the audio and the minutes model receives the transcript, both sent directly from this browser to OpenAI with your key; OpenAI keeps them up to 30 days for abuse checks. Usage is billed to your OpenAI account (Whisper is about $0.006 per minute). The key is kept in this browser’s storage; do not use a shared computer.
Transcript and minutes start as soon as a recording is saved.
Speakers are labelled by the transcription engine; you name them afterwards.
Recordings stay on the device that made them. Names, notes, tags, transcripts, minutes, speakers and marks sync between your devices. A copy of an original goes to the server only when you choose “Keep a copy on the server” for that meeting. Server copies are free during the beta.
Nothing is visible to anyone else unless you make a share link for a meeting, issue its minutes, connect an assistant or make an access token for an app, or link a project to Construction Metric.
